In the upcoming Fall 2016 semester. Prague College will start its new cooperation with the financial analysis software producer GIDE  a new member of the College's Industry Network. The software is planned to be integrated into the course content of the MSc Managing Operations and Finance (MOF) class, part of the MSc International Management programme, for the purposes of formulating financial analysis reports.

More particularly, students will be involved with the assessment of company financial performance and position via ratio analysis including profitability, solvency, liquidity and leverage issues. Based on the results, students will be able to align capital structures and other crucial aspects of financial management of the firm and to develop a set of strategic guidelines for further improvements.

With this important initiative, Prague College is seeking to 'bridge the gap' between industry requirements and academe that is so commonly cited in recent educational research and industry reports. With the integration of this new software, students of the MSc International Management programme will be able to have hands-on experience with data modelling, planning and reporting as well as qualifying with valuable professional and academic skills that will be highly demanded in their future career endeavours.

For more information about the MSc International Management course please see here; for the software, please refer to the GIDE official website.
