We are happy to announce that from September 2016, Prague College students of BA (Hons) Business Finance and Accounting will be eligible for ACCA exemption at the Foundation Level.
ACCA - or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants - is the leading official professional certification body that grant distinct qualifications in accounting, business valuation, international auditing, public sector accounting standards and many other related areas.
To become a chartered certified accountant the applicants have to sit a set of exams that usually include two levels, the Foundation Level (9 exams) and the Professional Level (5 exams). These require extensive preparation.
Students studying for the BA in Applied Finance and Accounting at Prague College will be able to register, via a 'Fast Track' route with the ACCA at the same time as continuing their studies. This process will allow students to get exemptions from up to five ACCA exams at the Foundation Level including:
- F1-F4 for BA (Hons) in Business Finance and Accounting graduates;
- F7 for successful completion of Financial Accounting and Reporting and Advanced Financial Accounting
ACCA certification is in great demand by international organizations looking for candidates with knowledge of IFRSs and IASs, ethical standards and financial reporting.
