There is no Mocking This Interview!

How to get it all right during the interview? Be ready for the mock!

This week Prague College students in the Personal and Professional Development class turned up for the first of a series of mock interviews designed to get the best results in real life contexts.

Attempting to 'suit' all of the requirements of the interview was quite difficult - but most students achieved strong results.  Previously all kinds of interview techniques had been explored, including the most effective answer to the dreaded question 'What is your greatest weakness?'

Lecturer Tom Draper said of the exercise 'There really is no excuse for anyone to do badly at an interview. The techniques that they have learned have markedly increased their self-confidence and will stand them in good stead in the future to get the employment opportunities they deserve. 

'It is probably the smartest we are going to see these people until graduation... but at least then we will know they are smart on the inside as well as the outside!'
