Consolidation of Academic Programmes
As Prague City University celebrates its 20th anniversary, we are excited to announce the consolidation of our academic programmes under 3 schools:
School of Art, Design & Media
School of Business, Management & Technology
School of Education
We believe this consolidation will lead to positive synergies within the schools as the Creative Media Production programme joins with Art and Design, and the Computing programmes join Business and Management.
Dave Gannon will continue to serve as the Interim Dean of the School of Business, Management and Technology while George Allen will continue to lead as Dean of the School of Art, Design and Media.
In other news, the university has taken the strategic decision to develop the Hybernská City Centre campus versus moving the university to the proposed Pragovka campus. Due to unforeseen planning delays and the distressed rental market, the Pragovka artist district will not be realised in the coming years as originally conceived. With this in mind, the university will undertake to expand and develop the facilities at the Hybernská campus and to affirm our identity as a city centre university.
