Visiting Artist: Nick Kline

New York-based photographer Nick Kline gives his talk as part of the Visiting Artist and Lecturer Series.

The photographer Nick Kline was born in 1968 in Spring Lake, New Jersey, and currently resides in New York City.  He received his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, and BFA from the University of the Arts. His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions across the world, from New York and Montreal to Stavanger and Stuttgart.

His publication 'Sorry You’re Here' was a finalist in the Norwegian Natt & Dag magazine's National Book of the Year Award, 2012. His work can also be found in the Museum of Modern Art,  the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Artexte and Banff Center in Montreal.

Kline’s work has been reviewed in The New York Times and The New Yorker, as well as The Philadelphia Inquirer, Time Out NY, The PhotoReview, Frankfurter Rundschau Magazine, and elsewhere. In 2014 Kline was artist-in-residence both at Artexte, Montreal, and at the Center for Contemporary Arts, Prague.

We are delighted to welcome him. His talk will take place at Prague College (Blanicka Entrance)  rooms 001 and 002.
