Computing and IT mini-conference

For the forthcoming Open Day, Wednesday 26 April, the IT department has put together a special mini-conference on computing and information technology featuring presentations and workshops from our lecturers and Master's students. We welcome current students and staff from all faculties, and of course all those visiting the college for Open Day.

Programme:

  • 10:00 am - 10:50 am Patrick Scherer: LyX - Almost Word for LaTeX, workshop (Room 211)
  • 11:00 am - 12:30 pm Stefano Cavagnetto: Design and Analysis of Algorithms, lecture and workshop (Room 209)
  • 1:00 am - 1:50 pm Dominik Pantucek: Cyberspace safety: From Mentor's hacker manifesto to modern cyber-criminality (Room 209)
  • 2:00 am - 2:50 pm Radek Honzik: Algorithmically unsolvable problems, lecture (Room 209)
