After 15 years we've had the pleasure of hosting some great events, and this year will be no exception! We will see the return of some of our established favourites, however, we're exited to roll out the red carpet for something new and exciting. Take a look at the activities planned around our Welcome Week to start the semester in style!
Our very own Student Council is already hitting the ground running with a student driven music night. Next week we'll spend some quality time with friends and family at one of our newest events, and to wrap up our Welcome Week we'll explore both nature and the virtual world, check it out:
Study Break*
For those of us who are not ready to let go of the summer holiday just yet, stop by the first of our student music nights at Cross Club. Whether you're already back in Prague, waiting for classes to start, or if you just want to go out with friends before Wednesday is officially considered "a school night", you're invited to come and celebrate the end of summer with us. Catch up with friends, make new ones, and enjoy 4 DJ sets by Prague College students, alumni and a special guest!
Wednesday 11.9 | 21:00 - 03:00 | Free Entry!

Family and Children Celebration
A very important aspect of our community is the support we get from our friends and family. Our 15th anniversary is a great time to start a new tradition in which we'll show our appreciation to the people that have been there, are there, and will continue to be there for us well into the future. If you are a current or former staff member, lecturer, student or alumni, please join us for a fun afternoon at Rajská zahrada with your spouse or partner, and of course your children! It will be an interactive afternoon with a scavenger hunt, football, and refreshments! RSVP to veronika@praguecollege.cz
Monday 16.9 | 15:00 - 18:00 | Free Entry!

Cyberspace Exhibition
As the students of BA Fine Art Experimental Media enter their third and final year of the programme, they're presented with a unique challenge in the form of an intensive 8-day workshop at our Bishop's Court campus on cyberspace, Virtual Reality, and the application of new technologies in art. At the end of the week the students and workshop leaders, Pascal Silondi and Jakub Grosz, will welcome visitors from Prague College and the public to a one-night interactive installation of new works not only to be seen, but to be experienced! See last year's album here.
Friday 20.9 | 18:00 - 21:00 | Free Entry!

Walk with IT
Another of our favourite traditions is our annual Walk with IT, and we're happy to announce this year's trek! To cap off our Welcome Week, staff and lecturers from the School of Media and IT have invited all members of our community to join them at Průhonice Chateau, with one of the most beautiful parks of its kind in the Czech Republic. Průhonice is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to an extremely valuable botanical collection with over 1600 species of domestic and exotic trees and shrubs, as well as an exceptional collection of rhododendrons. RSVP to veronika@praguecollege.cz
Saturday 21.9 | 10:00 - 16:00 | Entry fee 50 - 80 CZK
