The workshop consisted of three parts: Tracing Characters, Short Briefs or Lessons and Open Critic Sessions. By means of tracing preselected letters, participants experimented with structural elements of letter shapes such as contrast, connections, the weight of strokes and curve velocity. They also learned the basics behind sketching an alphabet. The workshop attracted high attendance from students and was very useful for students enrolled in the Graphic Design and Fine Art Experimental Media programmes at Prague College. One of the students of BA (Hons) Graphic Design comments, "It widened my typographic knowledge and I would like to thank those who organised such an inspiring and useful event that brought one of today's top typographers into our college."
