A Prague College Summer School Class
This unit will focus on a modern front end web development toolkit and processes. Students will learn about emerging technologies such as SVG, HTML5, and CSS3 as well as other toolkits like Angular JS, Grunt and SASS.
The class will be structured around a few core lectures on the technology, as well as practical project oriented work. Ideally students will have a project idea that they wish to work on.
Learning Outcomes
- Gained a deeper understanding of modern browser technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, media queries, and SVG
- Learnt the tools of a modern web development workflow with GIT, Grunt, and SASS
- Gained an overview of building client side web applications using Angular JS
- Taken a look at the basics of REST APIs
Please note: Before taking this class students should have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS. Mastery is not required but basics will not be taught in much detail.
