Looking for a job or business contacts? The YPF can help

by Alex Went, on 20 March 2008 02:00:00 CET

Finding a good job can be a challenge for anyone, and it can be even harder for students without much work experience.  However, recruiters in Prague have found an increase in the number of employers looking to hire good students!

This Thursday (March 13th), the Young Professionals Forum is holding a business networking event, with a focus on the recruitment industry.  If you are interested in making business contacts, and meeting recruiters who can help you get a great job in the future ďż˝ this event is for you.

Besides the free welcome drink and food throughout the evening, there will be free Thai massages and an information session on the recruitment industry in Prague, with Markus Klos, one of the co-founders of JobsInPrague.cz.  JobsInPrague is also coordinating the first and largest Jobs Event in the Czech Republic, called Job Days, with a special section for students and young professionals to learn more about building professional CVs, improving interview skills, and becoming an entrepreneur.

To get your name on the guest list for the YPF Event this Thursday, send an email to info@youngprofessionalsforum.cz and say that you are studying at the Prague College.  The event has limited space, so reserve your place asap.  The event starts at 19:30, at the JetSet Lounge on V Jame 6 (NOT the JetSet near Andel), and business casual clothing is expected (but feel free to dress more professionally if you'd like).

About the YPF: The Young Professionals Forum is devoted to providing young professionals with the skills, contacts, and opportunities to help them succeed and become active members of the business community in Prague.  For more information, and to get notified about future events, check out: www.youngprofessionalsforum.cz
