Sean McAlorum, Programme Leader of the Foundation Programme and lecturer of graphic design and interactive media, spoke on "Self promotion and the importance of branding." The goal of his presentation was to introduce various graphic tools which can help create awareness about companies and the services they offer. He also suggested ways of differentiating oneself from the competition by being innovative and surprising. Ondrej Fucik, graphic designer and lecturer in the Graphic Design Programme, followed up Sean's presentation by familiarizing the audience with corporate identity as a tool for visual communication, and the latest developments in the industry with an emphasis on logo creation.
