Prague College's School of Art & Design is currently hosting a series of visiting artists.  Their interests range across the entire spectrum of the arts, from graphic design to experimental media; and each has made a unique contribution to their field.

On 26 November, Milan Gustar - music composer, programmer, and designer of electronic and electro-acoustic instruments introduced a fascinated audience to his use of mathematics to create compositions, as well as sonic and visual artworks.

On 2 December, Lucie Vitkova will be talking about her work. Lucie studied at the Brno Conservatory, where she graduated in accordion and composition. Since 2008 she has studied composition at Janacek Academy of Music in Brno (JAMU), where now she is active in the field of improvised music as well. Parallel to her study of music she teaches tap dance at the Faculty of Theatre of JAMU. She was a resident artist at Ostrava Days in 2009 and 2011.

Finally this semester on 10 December, there will be a visit from Vladimír Strejček, one of the best cartoonists in the Czech Republic. He founded DRAWetc, one of the country's longest-established illustration studios, and has collected multiple awards for his work. In 2007 he created Urban Legends, a designer brand producing everything from t-shirts to paper memory games. Right now he is applying himself to BigBookBrotherhood, a publishers for authors and lovers of comic books and comics - his favourite genre.
