3D is transforming our world. Whether it be in traditional stereoscopy, 'immersive systems' or 3D printing, the virtual world is getting ever closer to our perception and experience of reality. Jan Burianek has spent his professional career in advanced image and video processing and computing.
As an expert in motion capture techniques (MOCAP), 3D reconstruction and compression. he has implemented many significant 3D VR immersive computer systems, and been involved in major 3D projects such as “Hurvinek 3D”, “Jesus Christ Superstar 3D”, “A Duvet 3D”, “Goat Story 2”, and “Carmen 3D”.
His entertaining and fascinating talk was the latest in Prague College's well-respected Master Speaker Series. Pictures from Mr Burianek's lecture can be seen below:
