"I was trying to get into an art school in Zlin, but when I was searching on the internet I saw the advertisement for Prague College and pretty much made up my mind. I am currently about to finish my second year in the School of Art & Design."
"This was part of a live project our class did for Medecins Sans Frontieres (Lekari bez Hranic), the international charitable organization. They wanted some way of promoting their worldwide activities and came up with the idea of distributing free condoms, an important part of their message in preventing disease. The brief was to produce a catchy graphic for the packaging of the product."
"It's meant to appeal to young people so I based the design on retro video games [like Zelda], which have heart-shaped counters indicating how many lives a player has lost. The idea is that without proper protection, you may lose the only life you have. The caption reads 'Life is not a Game - protect yourself with Medecins sans Frontieres'"
Stanislav's design has now been produced in a first run of 5000 packs, which have been distributed around Prague clubs and bars. Well, it's a good way of getting your name out there!
Followup: Stanislav has since gone on to produce the winning design for a new logo for the European Legal English Teachers' Association.
