Living in a new city is an exciting prospect. For many students it’s a first taste of real independence, but we also appreciate that you need to feel secure and comfortable.

That’s why PCU in cooperation with trusted providers, offers a wide range of quality accommodation.

Our primary residential provider is Student House Botič who have been welcoming PCU students from all around the world for many years, although with an increasing number of students moving to Prague there has been an increase in Student Accommodation providers which we have listed below. We recommend student residences as they are full of students just like you, so it's easier to make friends and integrate into your new city.

In addition, we have secondary options for independent living in central city locations.

We aim to make the process easy so that you can travel to Prague with confidence, knowing that you have your accommodation ready and waiting. PCU staff are always available to advise and help you find the perfect home. They can secure your accommodation booking at Student House Botič and help you with any rental contracts and paperwork in Czech or English.

We do advise our international students who require a visa to study with us to spend the first semester or year in a student residence to reduce delays to their visa application. If this is you, rest assured that a room in one of the student residences is guaranteed once your place at PCU is confirmed.

The Fizz

The Fizz is an award-winning student residence that is walking distance to the metro stop Nádraží Holešovice, offering a fast and direct metro ride to our City Centre Campus.

The Fizz offers a total of 539 single and double fully furnished apartments ranging in size from 13 to 31m² and with their own kitchen and bathroom. There are many common room spaces such as a study room, gaming area, movie lounge and communal kitchen, plus a sky lounge on the 7th floor. Prague's largest park “Stromovka” is only a few minutes walk away for sporting activities, picnics, bars and restaurants.

Bro-coli

Bro-coli is Prague's newest international student residence and offers affordable studio apartments for singles or couples, or a bed in shared double or triple rooms with private bathrooms and kitchens. Residents also enjoy large co-living areas including communal lounge and study spaces plus an indoor and outdoor gym. All spaces are brand new and equipped with modern amenities to ensure that you can comfortably live, study and make new friends. The reception is also open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and ready to help you when needed. Bro-coli is only a 7 minute walk to the metro stop Střížkov, offering a direct and fast metro ride into the city.

ROOMS|5 Student Residence

Designed with the participation of students and young people from the very start, Rooms 5 provides modern accommodation where you can feel at home. In close proximity to a metro stop, it is well connected to the rest of the city, with affordable rooms available. Find out more here.

Youston Co-living

Youston offers a brand-new co-living space in the alternative neighbourhood of Žižkov, a short tram ride to PCU and the city centre. Choose from stylish, comfy, newly furnished and pet-friendly studios with flexible and affordable lease options. Private Accommodation

Prague City University cooperates with the Student Room Flat platform, a one-stop-shop for students to find long-term lets in flat-shares or private apartments, to suit different budgets.
