Teesside University - Our Strategic Partner
The beginning of our long-term partnership with Teesside University in the United Kingdom dates back to 2008 with the first approval of our BA (Hons) International Management degree. Over the years this has expanded into a strategic alliance in which all British Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes offered at Prague City University are approved and accredited by Teesside University. Prague City University applies all the same quality assurance processes and regulations related to the delivery and assessment of the degrees as Teesside University, while students get the full multicultural and international experience of studying at Prague City University.
Teesside is also a scheme partner of the UK-based Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. PCU as a strategic partner of Teesside is also certified. QAA is a mark of quality assurance and indicates that a University is committed to delivering quality higher education for transnational education students.
In addition to our close collaboration on learning and teaching our British degrees, we also work with Teesside University as our closest partner for a range of university networking and collaboration.
Planning for the Future, November 2021
It was great to welcome back Teesside University’s Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive, Professor Paul Croney, as well as Professor Mark Simpson Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching), Warren Harrison, Dean of Teesside University International Business School and George Hunt, Director of International Development. PCU Senior Management had a lot to share with our Strategic Partner, primarily presenting our transformation to a university, the name and identity change, introducing the School of Education and discussing new initiatives such as Learning Plus, PCU City and PCU’s Sustainable Education agenda. Research and industry engagement plans were discussed along with ways in which both institutions will cooperate in the coming months and years. A number of exciting projects for realisation in 2022 and 2023 were started. Stay tuned for more news soon!
