Juan Jose Navarro Trujillo, Foundation Diploma in Business graduate

“I’ve always enjoyed playing with numbers so after high school I decided to look at combining this with business. Initially I was interested in International Management but the financial classes in my Foundation year made me realise that I really enjoyed this part. I then chose to study BA (Hons) International Finance and Business Accounting. So slowly I’ve started to grow into a career where I can play with numbers."

Projects & Studies

Foundation students have successfully worked with the Czech Circular Economy initiative to complete an integrated project together with INCIEN. Students worked in project groups and were responsible for carrying out a study assessing the marketing efforts of L’Oreal. In their assessment they also evaluated their current efforts transitioning into a circular economy, and provided recommendations on what else they could do in order to become active participants in the circular economy.

Career Fair 2023

PCU's network of local and international employers ensures that students are constantly informed about exciting opportunities that come their way, not just limited to the annual career fair.

One such example is Anastasiia, a first year student who has an internship with local firm Lucca Prague.

"The correlation between my studies and my job have been immensely helpful. Many of the tasks I am assigned at my internship I have already covered in class."
