As PCU's Events Coordinator you will oversee the seamless execution of events and their budgets in line with PCU's Event Management Plan, which you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain. This includes managing in-person, hybrid, and online (Zoom) events, either independently or in collaboration with academics, staff, and student leaders. As a member of the Marketing Team, you will also ensure the timely communication and promotion of PCU events to both internal and external audiences.  

As a fluent Czech speaker with advanced English proficiency, you will bring strong communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with external venues and partners.

Responsibilities:

• possess exceptional organisational skills to effectively plan and manage a busy and diverse events programme
• Manage the PCU Event Calendar to ensure no scheduling conflicts occur 
• Identify requirements and expectations for each event
• Develop event concept and content together with responsible academic or staff member and assess possible venues
• Develop and keep to a budget 
• Prepare and sign contracts with necessary parties 
• Develop event graphics with the support of the Graphic Designer & ensure they are distributed through the correct channels, such as email, social media accounts, local media partners, posters/digital advertising etc. 
• Devise a communication plan for end-to-end event promotion, invitations and follow-up to be approved by the Marketing Manager, managing email lists and responses through the CRM system. 
• Organise and manage the event logistics for set-up and set-down, including but not limited to catering, signage, recruiting and appointing a suitable events team (e.g. student volunteers, videographer/photographer, student content producers, sound engineer, webinar equipment, entertainers). 
• Ensure smooth delivery of event registration, running and be on hand to troubleshoot and manage the events team during event delivery. 
• Prepare an event evaluation report for the Marketing Manager and wider team so that subsequent follow up promotion can be done to support wider objectives.   
• Support logistics for recruitment events and other activities held abroad

Qualifications/Skills:

Proficiency in using CRM software, Google Docs, WordPress and project management software.
Strong interpersonal skills to work closely with the marketing and admissions teams, as well as management and students.
Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Languages: 

Advanced Czech language
Fluency in English (minimum C1/B2)
