Resource Centre
The Resource Centre at Prague City University is designed to provide needed equipment and support for educational non-professional purposes. Cameras, video production equipment, including lighting kits for studio and field work, audio recorders, microphones and related equipment used in sound production as well as video projectors for presentations and exhibitions. Currently registered students and faculty have the right to borrow equipment exclusively for school projects, presentations and other educational uses during each semester in the academic year.To reserve equipment, please choose from available items on the PCU Equipment List, read the Loan Policy and fill in the Loan Request Form. If available, you will be notified when the requested equipment will be ready for you. If you need assistance feel free to email or come to the resource centre with questions.
Resource Centre Desk Hours: Monday – Friday: 10:00 – 14:00
Books and equipment are checked out from the Resource Centre after 12:00 — midday, and must be returned before 12:00 — midday. Please respect the hours as delays cause problems for the person loaning after you. The Resource Centre is located on the 1st floor at our Hybernská City Centre Campus, room H111 next to Reception. Return and collection of equipment can happen outside of the Resource Centres opening hours, if previously agreed upon. In that case reception can help let you in. Plan ahead: Booking must be done a minimum of 48 hours in advance, or more before a holiday or weekend, as they do not count in the time calculation. Equipment is loaned out for 2 weekdays.
Books are also loaned out by the Resource Centre. They must be reserved by email and may be checked out for one month at a time.
