Study Exchange Opportunities for PCU Students
We believe a globally connected community promotes stability and growth, benefiting everyone. That’s why we encourage our students to enrich their learning and build international friendships through a semester or two abroad at one of our partner institutions.
Partner Destinations
All PCU students have the opportunity to study at one of our partner institutions. If you are interested in studying abroad please contact your Student Support Advisor for your School to find out what is required.
Teesside University, United Kingdom
Students from all British-Accredited Bachelor degree programmes can apply to study for one semester with our strategic academic partner, Teesside University. Students have the opportunity to experience university life from a different perspective in a larger institution in the North of England. Teesside University is close to major UK cities and is surrounded by the beautiful British countryside, ready for you to explore. Shorter study weeks and summer school programmes can also be organised for students.
EFAP, France
Students studying Creative Media Production can enjoy a semester in Paris at EFAP. EFAP also runs a summer school programme that is available to all PCU students.
ESME, France
For Computing students, our partner ESME runs a summer school in robotics which is a perfect opportunity to experience this specialist field while enjoying Paris in the summer.
Designschule München, Germany
For many years students from Designschule München have come to PCU to complete their studies in Graphic Design. In turn, our own Graphic Design students have the opportunity to join weekend conference visits and partake in collaborative projects in Munich as part of their studies.
Erasmus+ Exchange
In addition to our partner institutions, we participate in the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme. This initiative gives students the opportunity to learn at a participating Erasmus+ university elsewhere in the EU, where they can learn and immerse themselves in the rich diversity of cultures and lifestyles that Europe has to offer.
School of Education students studying Bachelors in Teaching English as a Foreign Language have the opportunity to study as an Erasmus+ student to the following universities. If you are interested in studying abroad under Erasmus+ please contact your Student Support Advisor in the School of Education to find out how you can be nominated.
PCU has a goal of sending up to 5% of our students to a participating Erasmus+ university for part of their studies. At the present time, only students on the Bachelor’s programme in School of Education are eligible. More programmes will become eligible in the near future.
Our School of Education has an Erasmus+ agreement with the universities listed below.
