Ing. Alexandru Mihnea Moucha Ph.D.
Associate Lecturer
Alexandru specialises in and teaches computer networking (LAN, MAN, WAN, WLAN), modern internet technologies, routing and switching, security, design and architecture, auditing as well as communication protocols and their design.
Alexandru earned his doctorate at ČVUT, where he currently works as an Assistant Professor. His PhD thesis was in the area of wireless networks and sensor arrays. Alexandru's research areas include communication protocols, routing and switching, interference, radio wave propagation and antennas. In addition, he holds an Masters in Computer Science and a Bachelor in Engineering in Computer Science from the University Politehnica in Bucharest.
Alexandru is a Cisco-certified network professional, having achieved 13 individual Cisco industrial-level Certifications.
His hobbies include aviation (as a licensed pilot), astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, physics, mathematics, and other exact sciences.
