Acting Programme Leader for BSc Computing
As Acting Programme Leader for BSc Computing, Bruce brings expertise and leadership to the role, drawing on his experience as both a lecturer and course administrator.
His research activities include an exploration of the crossover between the application of data analytics methodologies and business processes, the application of AI and ML tools to Business Fintech applications, the development of Structural Equation Models and analysis to develop multi-functional models for Supply Chains processes. He has also taught ITIL ICT Service Management, Business Information Systems and Cryptography at PCU.
He also holds the responsibility of Associate Dean and teaches Financial Accounting, Business Ethics with Corporate Governance, Business Strategy and manages the CIMA/CGMA programme.
Outside of teaching, Bruce’s research interests are in the areas of virtue ethics, finance, and business strategy. Currently his research focuses on business ethics with a special interest in decision-making models using the framework of virtue ethics. Other areas of interest are in Portfolio Theory, CAPM, algorithmic trading, behavioural finance, and efficiency of financial markets. Bruce actively collaborates with Hon. Prof. Stefano Cavagnetto on the strategic development of CRIS (Centre for Research and Interdisciplinary Studies) at the university.
In addition to his degrees he holds the CIMA/CGMA qualification and has completed the Fintech Programme at Oxford’s Saïd Business School.
