Dr. Kateryna Shymanska, PhD. is an experienced academic with a strong background in Accounting and Auditing, specializing also in International Economic Relations. She holds both a Master's degree and a PhD in Accounting and Auditing, showcasing her dedication to her field.

With over 16 years of academic experience, she has held roles such as assistant professor, professor, and head of department at institutions including Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University in Ukraine and Prague University of Economics and Business in the Czech Republic. In these roles, she has taught a range of courses, including "Auditing," "Accounting and Reporting in Taxation," "Financial Accounting," "International Trade," "International Marketing," and "SMEs' Internationalization."

In addition to her academic work, Dr. Shymanska possesses valuable practical experience in the field. She has worked as an auditor and accountant for several Ukrainian companies.

Dr. Shymanska joined the School of Business as a Principal Lecturer in September 2023 and teaches accounting-oriented subjects at undergraduate level.
