Seeking new adventures, Sean continued his publishing career in Prague with a magazine called Quo, which went on to win the award for Best Czech Magazine of the Year in 2000.

In Prague, he decided to switch to the field of advertising. At Leo Burnett, Sean won local awards, including a Golden Watch at the Golden Drum Advertising Festival in Portoroz, Slovenia and contributed to his agency winning Agency of the Year at the same festival for two consecutive years. Sean also worked at Ark Thompson, which later became JWT. Whilst in adverting his clients included Fiat, Nestlé, Unilever, Gambrinus, Kraft, Mazda and ČSOB.

As Programme Leader for Graphic Design, Sean has focused on setting up and updating the modules that make up the programme. He prides himself on being a hands on and approachable mentor for both lecturers and students, and continues to enjoy watching his students grow into confident designers.
