Thomas Draper

Thomas Draper, Ph.D.

Associate Lecturer

Thomas first joined the university as a lecturer in 2009.  He specialises in teaching the history of Economics and Business Environments to students from Foundation level through to the degree programmes. He also gives guest lectures at the university. 

Thomas has been involved in research for years and currently holds the position of research officer at PCU. His expertise lies in the field of business research, and he actively contributes to the university's CRIS journal.

In addition to his expertise in Economics, Thomas has teaching experience in the fields of Environmental Studies and Environmental Impact Assessments. Prior to teaching he worked in the Environmental Impact Assessment field including for the Ministry of Agriculture in the UK, where he conducted economic audits of farm subsidies.

Outside of his academic interests, Thomas has written several published books of poetry and is a member of the Royal Society of Literature in London. He is also a director of a property company in the United Kingdom.
