Students enrolled in the Master's programme in Fine Art have just completed their first major exhibition.

The aim of their site-specific project was to choose an intended site, place, space, either real or imaginary, and work with its specific spatial, temporal, historical, social and/or philosophical contexts, as well as developing collaborative practices that work using social and interdisciplinary approaches.

"For this semester's project we chose the Orco-owned former building of the electric company (elektrické podniky) in Prague's Holesovice district. We accompanied our collaborative exploration with lectures, screenings and guest presentations."

Students did complex 'terrain' research. After this, they were challenged to determine their own projects and ideas that address and engage others. Within the frame of forming new (micro)space/s, they all worked on their individual art pieces for this final presentation.
