With the start of the Spring 2021 semester edging nearer and welcome activities kicking off this week, everyone at Prague College is very much looking forward to welcoming our new and returning students!

2020 was a remarkable year for reasons that none of us could have anticipated and during this time our community demonstrated how remarkable it truly is.

We united together more than ever through attendance at guest lectures, exhibitions, parties & other activities put on for the community. Students successfully found creative working solutions for demanding group and individual projects regardless of their location, something which demonstrates both their commitment and connection to their studies and the College. We even had a group of students across the three Schools come together to set up a student magazine and podcasts featuring our talented students, teachers and alumni's work in various forms. You can hear more from them on Friday 19th February. We are excited see what this semester brings!

Prague College students meet up in Dubai

As we look forward to the Spring 2021 semester, we are ready to welcome our students into our Digital Campus not only for classes, but as active participants in our various associations and societies, for parties, guest lectures and events.

In the meantime, our Admissions & Student Services Teams continue to work hard assisting new students to enrol and subsequently ensuring they are prepared to start studying. We are keeping up to date with travel restrictions and can inform any new student about what they need to do when the time comes for them to arrive and join us in Prague, if not based here currently, as well as ensure that accommodation in one of the Student Residences is ready if required.

If you're still thinking about starting studies this semester, we are here to answer any last minute queries that you may have.

The diversity of our student body is what makes our work so enjoyable and means that every day is different! The Admissions Team is in the privileged position of having spoken to each one of our students who are due to start their studies so for us the most exciting time of year is Welcome Week.

Welcome Week is your best opportunity to meet the many new and returning students and learn about the various associations and societies that you can become a part of, as well as giving you the opportunity to join and participate in live meet-ups and events in the Digital Campus. Active involvement gives you the advantage of getting to know many different students across all programmes and gives you a real sense of the dynamic and friendly community you are a part of.

Programme inductions help to break the ice before the first lectures of the semester. This is where you get to meet your Programme Leader again as well as your classmates. Whether you're a high school graduate starting your Foundation or Bachelor's, or a working professional joining a global blended learning Master’s programmes, this is an important step before you embark on projects and presentations together.

Welcome Week

This time is as an opportunity for all students to receive support from our Student Services Team (and along with our current students) they can help you with many practical issues, such as how to open a bank account and set up a phone number for those who are new to Czech Republic. The team is always available to students for the duration of their studies and will assist with these things for each student as and when they may arrive in Prague.

If you’re still wondering if earning a British degree in an international environment with small class sizes, and a practical approach to learning may be for you, then contact us on admissions@praguecollege.cz to arrange a call.
