In January, Prague City University and Springboards, a corporate training organisation based in Chennai, India, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Under the new MoU, the university will deliver two higher education programmes to Indian students online via the Digital Campus platform.

PCU and Springboards MoU signing

Foundation Diploma in Business

Foundation Diploma in Business will be the first programme offered through Springboards. This course, taught fully online by PCU's Business faculty, is intended to equip students with a thorough understanding of business fundamentals in areas such as marketing, finance, accounting, operations management and human resources. Students who successfully complete the Foundation year will achieve a British-accredited Pearson Level 3 Diploma in Business.

Dr Bruce Gahir will manage delivery of the two programmes through PCU’s Digital campus

BA (Hons) in International Finance and Business Accounting

The second programme is available to students in their fifth semester of a commerce degree, as well as those who have already obtained the degree or a similar qualification.

Those who choose the programme will undertake one year of course modules from the BA (Hons) in International Finance and Business Accounting programme. Classes will be delivered online by lecturers from PCU, and students will also enjoy a short residential block of study in Prague. On successful completion, participants are awarded a British-accredited degree.

Eliska Zigova, Ambassador, Czech Republic exchange the MoU with Valli Arun, President of Springboard.

Czech Republic strengthens cooperation with Tamil Nadu

This new education partnership is part of a wider MoU that was signed in New Delhi, between the Czech Republic and India with a particular focus on the state of Tamil Nadu. The areas of cooperation identified include education, culture, tourism, defence and aerospace.
