Appointment of Bohuš Získal as the Head of Academic Development

The university is delighted to announce the appointment of Ing. Bohuš Získal, Ph.D. to the Office of the Rector as the Head of Academic Development. Bohuš will oversee the monitoring and review of current and future programmes across the 3 schools - Art, Design and Media; Business, Management and Technology; and Education - working closely with the Pro-Rector, Deans and Programme Leaders.

Bohuš will focus specifically on the viability of the programmes and the future employability of their graduates from the perspective of emerging trends, challenges and opportunities, e.g. related to AI and its implications for the workplace. Bohuš holds a Ph.D. from Charles University in Information Science and a Masters in Technical Cybernetics from the Czech Technical University in Prague.  He has served as a Principal Lecturer and Programme Leader at Prague City University since 2012.
