Scholarships for Czech Students

by Larissa Petryca, on 06 February 2023 17:37:22 CET

For 2023, PCU has initiated a generous scholarship programme for Czech students. This programme provides public school students from across the Czech Republic the opportunity to experience an international education in their homeland.

Fully-Funded scholarships for Maturita Graduates

Maturita graduates from public Czech high schools under 21 years of age are eligible to apply for one of three fully-funded scholarships that will cover the tuition fees for their chosen British-Accredited Bachelor’s programme, commencing September 2023.

Scholarships for Czech Citizens

In addition, Czech citizens interested in any undergraduate or Master’s programme can apply for one of a further ten scholarships.

Five of these will cover 75% of tuition fees, potentially reducing the cost of a British accredited Bachelor's programme to 27,000 CZK per semester. The remaining five scholarships will cover 50% of tuition fees. To calculate potential savings, please visit our tuition fees page.

What we are looking for

Applicants must demonstrate enthusiasm and motivation for studying and learning in English. Additionally, candidates will be evaluated based on previous academic achievement, community engagement, potential contributions to the university's culture and activities, and financial need.

Giving Back

Since its inception, PCU has consistently provided scholarships to local students who have achieved remarkable accomplishments. Notable examples include Jiří Michal, an alumni of Prague City University and former Student Council President who works in Corporate Finance Advisory at UniCredit Bank, among others.
