Prague College Webinar for High School Advisors

by Larissa Petryca, on 07 May 2020 15:31:46 CEST

In this time of uncertainty, many High School advisors and teachers have the tricky task of guiding their students on higher education options which raises many questions. With this in mind, Prague College has assembled a panel of expert advisors to discuss the many issues at play and to answer the pertinent questions of where to study and how?

This zoom webinar on 12 May at 15:00 CET is highly relevant to all people advising high school leavers on their university choices for September 2020 during the time of Covid-19. The assembled panelists will be offering honest and helpful advice in this time of facing change.

There are many questions circulating around how the pandemic will affect choice and opportunity for studying English-language undergraduate programs in Europe, the UK and the USA. Is the risk for study abroad worth it given the health, travel, visa and teaching implications and how will the 2020 academic year and beyond be taught?

George Hunt, Director of International Development for Teesside University UK and Natasha Exton Prague College's Head of Student Recruitment & Admissions, will represent the Universities. While Mark Huntington, Director of A Star Future and Zachary Wyman, Academic Counsellor, will share their perspectives from the advisory position.
