Visit of graphic designer and illustrator

by Alex Went, on 05 March 2014 10:02:46 CET

The School of Art and Design was delighted to be addressed by London-based designer Eleanor Crow, whose book covers are some of the most recognized in the publishing business.

Eleanor Crow is a senior illustrator and book cover designer for Faber and Faber. Having studied at Edinburgh College of Art and Central St. Martins, she spent seven years at Random House before becoming Art Director at the Folio Society in 2007. As well as her own prolific artistic output, she has also lectured at a number of art colleges in the UK. Her fascinating talk to our Graphic Design students, 'Uncovered', discussed several case studies of the developments of her own book cover designs as well as giving examples from the wider industry.
