AI and Digitisation for Business Symposium

On the 17th April 2024, the School of Business, in collaboration with colleagues from Teesside University International Business School, met online for the Artificial Intelligence and Digitalisation for Business Symposium.

Faculty Presentations

Two of our faculty presented at the Symposium: Dr. David Gannon, Dean of the School of Business, delivered a talk on 'AI and its application to learning and development - examining its use in a large multinational'“AI and Its Application to Learning and Development: Examining Its Use in a Large Multinational,” while Dr. Bruce Gahir discussed “AI and ML Tools Utilised for Efficient Working Capital Analysis.”

The primary aim of the symposium was to discuss how AI has the ability to enhance productivity and disrupt existing business models. The event attracted both academics and students from PCU and TUIBS who left inspired by the possibilities that AI presents for the future of business.
