Prague City University (PCU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Dave Gannon as Acting Dean of the School of Business. In addition to his current responsibilities as Associate Dean, overseeing teaching and learning, he will also serve as Acting Dean, offering leadership and direction for the School of Business in the immediate future.
Drawing on his extensive experience and expertise in managing academic programs in partnership with our academic collaborators, Dr. Gannon brings both his deep knowledge and passion for education to this new role.
Dr. Gannon’s research activities and interests include examining issues that marginalised groups within society face when seeking work, on which he has published and spoken at international conferences. With his main research focus in the fields of Human Resources (HR) and management, his latest research work has focused on strategies for implementation and adoption of AI within organisations, with a particular emphasis on employee reception and adaptation.
As Acting Dean of the School of Business, Dave will oversee the day-to-day running of the School, monitor the quality of the programmes, liaise with academic partners, and work towards the further development of the operations and strategic direction of the School.
