Ukrainian Academic Fellowships

by Larissa Petryca, on 29 March 2022 13:38:07 CEST

Prague City University is horrified by the unjust invasion by Russian military forces and the war and suffering in the Ukraine. Our first thoughts are for the safety of the people of Ukraine. In response we are offering several teaching and research fellowships for Ukrainian academics who are now in the Czech Republic due to the war, who would benefit from the teaching and research environment that Prague City University offers.

Academic Fellowships

Initially these fellowships will be for up to one year, although we would be delighted if they lead to long-term academic employment. In particular, the School of Business is expanding and is the place we would most readily be able to accommodate academics on a long-term or permanent basis.

Schools & Research

Prague City University offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees across four Schools in areas such as Art, Design, International Management, Finance & Accounting, Media Production, Computing and Education.

Research activities are led by our Centre for Research and Interdisciplinary Studies, alongside Research Leads in each of the Schools. PCU is a small specialist university of about 500 students with both Czech institutional status offering Czech-accredited degrees, as well as British degrees offered in cooperation with Teesside University in the UK. All instruction is in English.

Our School of Business also cooperates closely with the Teesside University International Business School, our key strategic partner university in the UK, on doctoral and postdoctoral research activities.
