Ordinary Day #2: Transformation Release Party

by Matthew Butler, on 18 October 2019 00:00:00 CEST

Thursday 7 November 2019 | 6:00pm - 9:00pm | SLOW Cafe, Francouszka 33

Ordinary Day magazine is a new publication focused on our environment & ordinary people, their personal projects, creative process & experience with self-exploration in everyday life.

Ordinary Day magazine started out as as Iva Borisova's BA (Hons) Graphic Design final project at Prague College, she displayed the magazine during the BA (Hons) Graphic Design Final Show 2018: Two for the price of one!

The Ordinary Day project has continued with support from Prague College alumnae Sandra Abdulhakova and Jana Krchova. Through their collaborative efforts Ordinary Day has been realised as a real print magazine and the team are excited to release the second issue focused on the theme of 'Transformation'.

Ordinary Day's participants are all active creatives with connections to Prague. Tapping into their international backgrounds their stories come from different corners of the world, such as Antarctica, India, Ukraine and the Arabian Desert just to name a few.

This issue includes elements of Prague College's new annual theme #FacingChange reflecting on physical change, environmental change, material change and of course, mental change.

During the launch event visitors can purchase a copy Ordinary Day #2. The first 20 purchases will come with a free copy of Ordinary Day #1, so readers can see the transformation the magazine has gone through.

Readers can follow the Ordinary Magazine on their Instagram page @ordinaryday.mag or on Facebook and get updates on the launch party on their Facebook event.

Ordinary Day #1 is available online on issuu here
