Larry Koch

Associate Lecturer
School of Business

Larry Koch teaches a range of business, management, accounting and finance classes as a distance learning lecturer for the School of Business. Larry pioneered our current approach of maintaining close contact with students on the blended learning programmes, while still running projects and giving in-depth personal feedback. Larry has taught blended learning for PCU from both Singapore and Texas. He also visits us every year to teach on our Summer School. In addition, he has been a faculty member at Dallas Baptist University, Navarro College, North Harris County College and College of the Mainland. He combines experience as an educator with broad-based work in public accounting and controllership.

As an audit partner in a public accounting firm, Larry has worked in both financial and tax matters including audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements as well as individual, partnership, corporate, estate and not-for-profit tax preparation and planning. Larry has participated in consulting engagements with the international client groups of Mitsubishi Corporation, Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Nippon Filcon.

He graduated in the United States with BBA and MBA degrees in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). His MBA education included additional work with a fellowship grant from the US Department of Education including a specialization in community college teaching and administration. Larry received an award for his accounting thesis from the Houston Chapter of the National Association of Accountants.
