Located in the city centre, Bishop’s Court is a dedicated art and design studio, providing a dynamic space for classes, exhibitions and workshops. It is also the venue for the popular fortnightly VALS lecture series.
Originally a textile factory, and later a contemporary art gallery, the building has a rich heritage as a centre for artistic production, a tradition which PCU maintains and develops. The studios extend over three open-plan floors, enabling students to study in a range of spaces covered by campus-wide Wi-Fi.
Biskupský dvůr 1147/6 (see map)
Located in the developing art and design district of Vysočany in Prague 9, this vast complex (originally built as a factory for Praga cars and trucks) has been transformed into one of the city’s major arts centres, with further plans for expansion to make it Prague’s premiere creative hub.
The studios provide the necessary space for PCU students undertaking their Master’s in Fine Art. The dynamic space houses a cafe, markets, summer cinema, art exhibitions and concerts, and is home to many working artists. This gives our students the unique ability to work alongside, and learn from, renowned Czech and European creators.
Kolbenova 923/34A, Prague 9 - Vysočany (see map) easily reached via Metro B, Kolbenova station.
In the spring and summer, all our studio spaces become a hive of activity as students and lecturers prepare for the highly anticipated end-of-year Degree Exhibitions.
