On 15 September, Prague College lecturers Sherrihan Radi, Tamara Ayrapetova and Bruce Gahir - all from the fields of finance and accounting - participated in a training session devoted to financial modelling and analysis software GIDE. This was the first of a series of trainings that are going to be developed in the future.
The main aim was to discuss the features of the software and possibilities that it could offer students studying for the last year of Bachelor programme in Business Finance and Accounting as well as the MSc programme in International Management.
During the session, lecturers and our representative from GIDE discussed important areas of finance such as ratio analysis with possibilities of data modelling and forecasting using example financial statements.
The software will start to be implemented by our Master's students this semester as part of their Managing Operational Finance (MOF) class.
